1. Who we are
Increview Technologies Private Limited ("Increview", "we", "us" or "our") is a technology company incorporated in India. We build software platforms for professionals. This policy explains how we handle personal data on this website and on the platforms we operate.
You can reach us at advabhinavbhatnagar@gmail.com or abhinav@thelegalsocial.com. Our registered office is in Bengaluru, Karnataka, India.
For the purposes of India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, we are the Data Fiduciary for the personal data described in this policy. For the purposes of the EU and UK General Data Protection Regulation, we act as a Controller where we decide why and how data is processed, and as a Processor where we handle data on behalf of a customer such as a law firm.
2. Data we collect
We collect only what we need to run the service you asked for.
- Information you give us: your name, email address, organisation, country, the topic of your enquiry and the contents of your message when you use a contact or waitlist form.
- Account information: where you create an account on one of our platforms, the credentials, profile details and verification documents you submit.
- Customer content: documents, case information and communications you upload to a platform such as Briefcase or E-Nyaya.
- Technical information: IP address, device and browser type, pages visited, referring page and approximate location derived from IP, collected to keep the service secure and working.
- Communications: correspondence with our support, sales and partnerships teams.
We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. Where a platform is restricted to adults or to verified professionals, we state that in the terms for that platform.
3. How we use personal data
- To provide, operate and improve the website and our platforms.
- To respond to enquiries, waitlist requests and partnership conversations.
- To verify professional credentials where a platform requires verification.
- To process payments and issue invoices and receipts, where you buy a paid plan.
- To keep the service secure, prevent abuse and investigate misuse.
- To send service messages such as changes to terms, security notices and billing updates.
- To send marketing communications where you have opted in, with an unsubscribe link in every message.
- To comply with legal, tax, accounting and regulatory obligations.
Where we rely on consent, you may withdraw it at any time. Withdrawal does not affect processing carried out before withdrawal. Where we rely on legitimate interests, we balance those interests against your rights and you may object.
4. AI processing
Some of our platforms use artificial intelligence to draft, summarise, research and automate routine work. Where this happens:
- A human reviews AI-generated professional output before it is used or filed.
- Citations produced by our systems are verified against trusted sources before they reach you.
- We do not use customer content to train third-party foundation models without an explicit agreement.
- Processing by sub-processors is covered by contractual terms that carry our confidentiality and security obligations through to them.
6. International transfers
We operate globally and may process personal data outside your country. Where data leaves the EEA, the UK or India, we use recognised safeguards such as standard contractual clauses, adequacy decisions and equivalent contractual protections, and we restrict transfers to countries where local law makes those safeguards unworkable.
7. How long we keep data
- Enquiry and waitlist data: up to 24 months from the last contact, unless you ask us to delete it sooner.
- Account and profile data: for as long as the account is active, and then for the period required by law.
- Customer content: for the term of the customer agreement, and then deleted or returned in line with that agreement.
- Billing and tax records: for the period required by Indian tax and company law.
- Security logs: typically 12 months.
8. Security
- Encryption of data in transit and at rest.
- Role-based access control and least-privilege access for our team.
- Audit trails on sensitive operations.
- Segregation of customer environments and regular backups.
- Vendor review before a sub-processor touches customer data.
No system is perfectly secure. If a breach affects your personal data, we will notify you and the relevant authority within the timelines the law requires.
9. Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access your data, correct it, erase it, restrict or object to processing, port it to another provider, withdraw consent, and nominate another person to exercise these rights on your behalf.
To exercise a right, write to advabhinavbhatnagar@gmail.com. We will respond within the period set by the applicable law, and we may ask you to verify your identity first.
11. Grievance officer
In accordance with the Information Technology Act, 2000 and the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, our Grievance Officer is Abhinav Bhatnagar. You can write to advabhinavbhatnagar@gmail.com. We acknowledge every complaint and aim to resolve it within 30 days.
If you are not satisfied with our response, you may escalate to the Data Protection Board of India, or to your local supervisory authority if you are in the EEA or the UK.
12. Changes to this policy
We update this policy when our practices change. The date at the top of this page always shows the current version, and we will tell you about material changes by email or through the product.
